Following a successful 20 year professional cricket career, I have transitioned into financial planning, bringing with me essential skills such as commitment, teamwork, communication and strategic thinking.
In 2023, I earned my qualification as a Financial Adviser from the prestigious St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy. Now, I apply the same level of passion and dedication that defined my cricket career into guiding my clients towards a secure financial future.
About
The pinnacle of my 20 year cricket career was representing England, where I had the privilege of meeting some incredible people and travelling the world. Playing for Worcestershire, Surrey and Somerset brought unforgettable experiences, and I retired from the game I love in June 2023.
A defining moment in my life came in 2011, when I became the first openly gay male international cricketer. It was a daunting time but I look back on it with pride knowing I was brave enough to be myself!
When I’m not working, you’ll find me watching or playing a variety of sports such as golf, tennis, snooker, boxing or mixed martial arts. I also love the theatre, going on long country walks and spending time with family and friends.
